§ 21-28-2.03. Schedule I tests. [Effective until April 1, 2026.]
The director of health shall place a substance in schedule I if he or she finds that the substance:
(1) Has high potential for abuse; and
(2) Has no accepted medical use in treatment in the United States or lacks accepted safety for use in treatment under medical supervision.

§ 21-28-2.03. Schedule I tests. [Effective April 1, 2026.]
(a) The director of health shall place a substance in schedule I if the director finds that the substance:
(1) Has high potential for abuse; and
(2) Has no accepted medical use in treatment in the United States or lacks accepted safety for use in treatment under medical supervision.
(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (a) of this section, the director shall have no authority to place or maintain mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine in schedule I.
