It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 23-27.3 of the General Laws entitled "State Building Code" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:
{ADD 23-27.3-401. Sale of pressure vessel. -- ADD} {ADD It shall be unlawful for any individual to install a boiler or water heater in a residential dwelling without first obtaining a plumbing permit and thereafter having the installation inspected by the appropriate municipal inspector. ADD}
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
