It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 14-1 of the General Laws entitled "Proceedings in Family Court" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

{ADD 14-1-5.1. Age in Dispute. -- ADD} In any proceeding under this chapter where the age of a person is in dispute, the person whose age is in dispute shall prove his or her age to the reasonable satisfaction of the court.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
