It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24-8.1 of the General Laws entitled "Relocation of Utility Services" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:
{ADD 24-8.1-3.1. "As built" plans required. -- ADD} {ADD Each utility shall submit to the Department of Transportation, a complete set of "as-built" plans, within sixty (60) days of the installation of new utility facilities, or within sixty (60) days of the relocation of existing utility facilities that affect state roads. ADD}
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
