A N  &NBSP A C T

AMENDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF CHAPTER 290 OF THE PUBLIC LAWS OF 1996, "AN ACT RELATING TO WATERS AND NAVIGATION -- OIL POLLUTION CONTROL"

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 4 of Chapter 290 of the Public Laws of 1996, entitled "An Act Relating to Water and Navigation -- Oil Pollution Control", is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 4. This act shall take effect {DEL June 1, 1997 DEL} {ADD July 1, 1997 ADD}."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
