It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. {ADD The town council of Cumberland is hereby authorized by ordinance, to amend its code of ordinances to provide for the regulation of retail businesses' operating hours and without limiting the general authority of the foregoing, to include therein provisions for hours of operation, extended hours, licensing exceptions, public hearings for extended hour applications, fees, enforcement, suspension and revocation and rules and regulations. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
