It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 14-1 of the General Laws entitled "Proceedings in Family Court" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

{ADD 14-1-5.1. Age in dispute. -- ADD} {ADD In any proceeding under this chapter where the age of a person is in dispute, the person whose age is in dispute shall prove his or her age to the reasonable satisfaction of the court. ADD}

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
