It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 31-3 of the General Laws entitled "Registration of Vehicles" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

{ADD 31-3-66. Judge emeritus. -- ADD} {ADD The registrar of motor vehicles is hereby authorized and directed to issue a special registration plate for the private passenger motor vehicle of former family court judge Carmine R. DiPetrillo; said plate to bear the identification "Judge Emeritus" with an appropriate number and a seal of the state thereon imprinted and the same shall be furnished without additional registration charge for such period of time as Judge DiPetrillo so desires. ADD}

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
