It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 11 of Chapter 87 of the Public Laws of 1993 entitled "An Act Authorizing the Town of Coventry to Finance the Expansion of the Town's Sewers and Sewerage System and to Issue not more than $8,500,000 Bonds Therefor" is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 11. The question of the approval of this act shall be submitted to the electors of the town at a {DEL regular municipal DEL} {ADD special local ADD} election to be held {ADD on a date, which may be the same date as any other election, prior to March 31, 1994, as shall be designated by the town council. ADD} {DEL no sooner than November 2, 1993 and not later than November 20, 1993. The question shall be submitted in substantially the following form. "Shall an act passed at the 1993 session of the general assembly entitled 'An act authorizing the town of Coventry to finance the expansion of the town's sewers and sewerage system and to issue not more than $8,500,000 bonds therefor' be approved"? and the warning for the election shall contain the question to be submitted. DEL} From the time the election is warned and until it is held, it shall be the duty of the town clerk to keep a copy of the act available at his office for public inspection, but the validity of the election shall not be affected by this requirement.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
