S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N
EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL COMMISSION TO MAKE A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF RHODE ISLAND'S HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE RELATED TO EDUCATING AND RETAINING PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS AND ESTABLISHING A STATE MEDICAL SCHOOL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND

     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 385
passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 13, 2024, entitled
"Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Make a Comprehensive Study
of Rhode Island's Healthcare Workforce Related to Educating and Retaining Primary Care
Physicians and Establishing a State Medical School at the University of Rhode Island" is hereby
authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before March 1, 2026, and
said commission shall expire on June 30, 2026; and be it further
     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 385 passed by the
Senate at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 13, 2024, be and the same is hereby
rescinded.
