| EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL COMMISSION TO MAKE A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF RHODE ISLAND'S HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE RELATED TO EDUCATING AND RETAINING PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS AND ESTABLISHING A STATE MEDICAL SCHOOL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND |

| RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 385 |
| passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 13, 2024, entitled |
| "Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Make a Comprehensive Study |
| of Rhode Island's Healthcare Workforce Related to Educating and Retaining Primary Care |
| Physicians and Establishing a State Medical School at the University of Rhode Island" is hereby |
| authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before March 1, 2026, and |
| said commission shall expire on June 30, 2026; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 385 passed by the |
| Senate at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 13, 2024, be and the same is hereby |
| rescinded. |
