| EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE OF RHODE ISLAND'S PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEM |

| RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 364 |
| passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 11, 2024, entitled |
| "Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study the Governance |
| Structure of Rhode Island’s Public Education System” is hereby authorized to continue its study |
| and make a report to the Senate on or before April 1, 2026, and said commission shall expire on |
| June 1, 2026; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 364, passed by the |
| General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 11, 2024, be and the |
| same is hereby rescinded. |
