| EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE AND AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SPECIAL SENATE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE EFFECT AND PROCEDURES FOR THE REORGANIZATION OF THE RHODE ISLAND COASTAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT COUNCIL (CRMC) |

| RESOLVED, That the special Senate commission created by resolution No. 401 passed |
| by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2019, and approved June 26, 2019, entitled "Senate |
| Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study the Effect and Procedures for the |
| Reorganization of The Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC)" is hereby |
| authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before June 9, 2020, and |
| said commission shall expire on January 12, 2021; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 401 passed by the |
| Senate at its January session, A.D. 2019, and approved June 26, 2019, be and the same is hereby |
| rescinded; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the composition of said legislative commission is hereby amended by |
| decreasing the membership to eleven (11) members, by changing the number of Senate members |
| from six (6) to three (3) Senate members, not more than two (2) from the same political party, to |
| be appointed by the President of the Senate, and by decreasing the number of commercial |
| fishermen from two (2) to one, to be appointed by the President of the Senate. |
