S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE RHODE ISLAND WATER RESOURCES BOARD AND WATER SUPPLY

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 316

passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2017, and approved June 14, 2017, entitled

"Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Study the Rhode Island Water

Resources Board and Water Supply" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report

to the Senate on or before March 30, 2018, and said commission shall expire on June 1, 2018; and

be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 316 passed by the

Senate at its January session, A.D. 2017, and approved June 14, 2017, be and the same is hereby

rescinded.

RESOLVED, That the composition of said Senate commission is hereby amended by

increasing the membership to sixteen (16) members, by adding one new member who shall be a

member of the Senate, to be appointed by the President of the Senate.
