H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

REINSTATING AND EXTENDING THE COMMISSION LIFE AND AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY AND REVIEW REGULATION OF DRONES AND UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 433,

passed by the House at its January session, A.D. 2015 and approved June 25, 2015, entitled

"House Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Study and Review Regulation

of Drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles," is hereby reinstated and the same members are

hereby reappointed, and it is authorized to continue its study and make a report to the House of

Representatives on or before May 12, 2016, and said commission shall expire on May, 18, 2016;

and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 433 passed by the

House of Representatives at its January Session, A.D. 2015, and approved June 25, 2015, be and

the same is hereby rescinded; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the composition of said special legislative commission is hereby

amended by increasing the membership to thirteen (13) members, by adding one new member

who shall be the President of Rhode Island College, or designee, and by adding a second new

member, who shall be an owner of a technology company in Rhode Island, to be appointed by the

Speaker of the House.
