A N   A C T

RELATING TO THE INCORPORATION OF THE FIRST FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH OF SMITHFIELD

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. The act entitled "An act to incorporate the First Freewill Baptist Church of

Smithfield," passed at the January session, A.D. 1864, and all acts in amendment thereof and in

addition thereto, including the act passed at the January session, A.D., 1918, approved April 19,

1918, and the act passed at the January session, A.D. 1961, approved May 5, 1961, is hereby

further amended so as to authorize the First Freewill Baptist Church of Smithfield to take, hold

and dispose of property, real, personal and mixed, without restriction as to amount.

SECTION 2. Said corporation shall also possess all the powers and privileges and be

subject to all the duties and liabilities set forth in chapter 6 of title 7, of the general laws entitled

"Rhode Island Nonprofit Corporation Act," and in any acts in amendment thereof or in addition

thereto.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage, and all acts and parts of acts

inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
