J O I N T   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL

LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO BE KNOWN AS "THE RHODE ISLAND CIVIL WAR

SESQUICENTENNIAL COMMEMORATION COMMISSION"

                   RESOLVED, That the special joint commission created by resolution No. 84 passed by

              the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2011, and approved February 24, 2011, entitled

              "Joint Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to be known as "The Rhode Island

              Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemoration Commission" is hereby authorized to continue its

              study and make a report to the General Assembly on or before January 5, 2018, and said

              commission shall expire on March 5, 2018; and be it further

                   RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 84 passed by the

              General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2011, and approved February 24, 2011, be and the

              same is hereby rescinded.
