A N A C T

AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE HOLDINGS OF MEMORIAL AND LIBRARY ASSOCIATION

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 2 of an act entitled “An Act to Incorporate the ‘Memorial and

Library Association’ of Westerly,” passed by the general assembly at the special October session,

A.D. 1892, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:

“SEC. 2. Said corporation may take, hold, transmit, and convey real and personal estate

to an amount not exceeding thirty million dollars ($30,000,000).”

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
