A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

     

     

     Introduced By: Senators Felag, and DiPalma

     Date Introduced: June 04, 2009

 

 

 

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

 

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Linda

Pereira, Massachusetts Justice of the Peace, may join Susan Botelho and Ronald F. Bumpus, Jr. in

marriage within the Town of Tiverton, Rhode Island on or about June 14, 2009. Linda Pereira is

hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in

accordance with chapter 15-3 of the General Laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
