A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

     

     

     Introduced By: Representatives Martin, DaSilva, Kilmartin, and Ruggiero

     Date Introduced: January 28, 2009

 

 

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

 

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Kevin

Horbowicz may join Maria E. Barg and Thomas T. Moniz in marriage within the City of

Newport, Rhode Island on or about June 21, 2009. Kevin Horbowicz is hereby authorized and

empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter

15-3 of the general laws, entitled “Solemnization of Marriages”.

     

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
