APPROPRIATION TO PAY CERTAIN CLAIMS

RESOLVED,
That there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise
appropriated for the fiscal year 2007 – 2008, the sums stipulated to pay the
claims of
the
following:

Frank A. Ciccone, III
The
sum of $1,475.53 to pay the claim of Government Employees Insurance Co., One
Geico
Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22412 as subrogee of Linda Blackburn, of 336
Killingly Street,
Apt.
7, Providence, Rhode Island 02909 for damages to their insured's vehicle when
it was struck
by
cascading snow falling on claimant's car, from a snow plowing/removal procedure
on the
Route
6 eastbound overpass, by state employees, while claimant was traveling
northbound on
Killingly
Street, in the town of Johnston on or about December 9, 2005;

2006;
and
the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his orders upon
the general
treasurer
for the payment of said sums.
