RELATING TO
SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is
enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION
1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, R. Bart
Totten
may join Marisa A. Quinn and James R. Sission in marriage, within the Town of
Jamestown,
Rhode Island on or about July 28, 2007. R. Bart Totten is hereby authorized and
empowered
to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with
chapter
15-3 of
the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
SECTION
2. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Sandy
Maisel
may join Jamie Horowitz and Kara Falkenstein within the City of Newport, Rhode
Island
on or
about July 28, 2007. Sandy Maisel is hereby authorized and empowered to join
the
foregoing
persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the
general
laws,
entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary,
Anne M.
Casoli,
a Justice of the Peace in the State of Massachusetts, may join Peter Ciafrei
and Elisa
Tortocia
in marriage, within the City of Newport, Rhode Island on or about July 4, 2007.
The
Honorable
Anne M. Casoli is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons
in
marriage
pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled
"Solemnization
of Marriages."
SECTION
4. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary,
Jacqueline
Smith-Miller, the former Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian
Universalist
First
Parish Church in Duxbury, Massachusetts may join Jeffrey M. Della Rovere and
Jennifer
L.S.
Lofgren in marriage, within the Town of New Shoreham, Rhode Island on or about
May 24,
2007.
Jacqueline Smith-Miller is hereby authorized and empowered to join the
foregoing persons
in
marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws,
entitled
"Solemnization
of Marriages."
SECTION
5. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Katherine
Waite
Rust may join Casey Leigh Finnegan and Steven William Sommers in marriage,
within the
State
of Rhode Island on or about June 22, 2007. Katharine Waite Rust is hereby
authorized and
empowered
to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with
chapter
15-3 of
the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
SECTION
6. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, William
Lee
Tift, Jr. may join Wendy W. Willis and Jackson Price in marriage within the
Town of
Narragansett,
Rhode Island on or about July 28, 2007. William Lee Tift, Jr. is hereby
authorized
and
empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in
accordance with
chapter
15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
SECTION
7. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Gail
Bryson
may join Amy Casey and Scott Connolly in marriage within the Town of
Portsmouth,
Rhode
Island on or about August 11, 2007. Gail Bryson is hereby authorized and
empowered to
join
the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter
15-3 of the
general
laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
SECTION
8. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Linda
Adams,
Town Clerk of Abington, Massachusetts, may join Susan Dallaire Masse and James
Leo
Archy
in marriage, within the Town of Bristol, Rhode Island on or about May 5, 2007.
Linda
Adams
is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage
pursuant to
and in
accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization
of Marriages."
SECTION
9. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Reverend
Peter
Monahan, a Minister with a Congregational church in Connecticut, may join Kelly
Chapman
and Jonathan Davis in marriage, within the Town of Westerly, Rhode Island on or
about
June 30, 2007. Reverend Peter Monahan is hereby authorized and empowered to
join the
foregoing
persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the
general
laws,
entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
SECTION
10. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Richard
Huddleston
Baker, former Headmaster of Noble and Greenough School, may join Amanda Green
and
Andrew Helming in marriage, within the Town of Bristol, Rhode Island on or
about June 16,
2007.
Richard Huddleston Baker is hereby authorized and empowered to join the
foregoing
persons
in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general
laws, entitled
"Solemnization
of Marriages."
SECTION
11. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, David
DeVecchis
may join Nicole Lee Pard and Louis Anthony Tomaselli, Jr. in marriage within
the
City of
Newport, Rhode Island on or about August 4, 2007. David DeVecchis is hereby
authorized
and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in
accordance
with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of
Marriages."
SECTION
12. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Gregory
Tripp
may join Aimee Belisle and Jayson Kenyon in marriage within the Town of
Portsmouth,
Rhode
Island on or about May 28, 2007. Gregory Tripp is hereby authorized and
empowered to
join
the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter
15-3 of the
general
laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
SECTION
13. This act shall take effect upon passage.
