RELATING TO A SPECIAL HOUSE COMMISSION TO EXAMINE THE ISSUE OF LICENSING, BUILDERS AND CONTRACTORS PASSED AS HOUSE RESOLUTION

NUMBER 278 AT THE JANUARY 2005 SESSION.

     SECTION 1. House Resolution creating a special house commission to examine the issue

of licensing builders and contractors, house bill 6491, resolution number 278 passed by the House

of Representatives on May 17, 2005, is hereby amended as follows:

     By amending the membership of the commission from thirteen (13) to fourteen (14)

members adding one member whom shall be a member of the Rhode Island Building Inspectors

Association, or designee, to be appointed by the Speaker.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
