J O I N T R E S O L U T I O N

OF ADJOURNMENT

     RESOLVED, That whereas both houses of the January 2005 Session of the general

assembly have been in recess since July 15, 2005, the January 2005 Session of the Rhode Island

House of Representatives and Senate, lawfully reconvened on January 6, 2005, is hereby

adjourned on January 3, 2006, and the Rhode Island House of Representatives and Senate shall

convene on said January 3, 2006, for the January 2006 Session immediately upon such

adjournment.

     Said adjournment by the Rhode Island Senate and the Rhode Island House of

Representatives are hereby accorded the consent of both the Rhode Island Senate and the Rhode

Island House of Representatives in accordance with Section 9 of Article VI of the Rhode Island

Constitution.
