H O U S E R E S O L U T I O N
RESPECTFULLY
REQUESTING THAT THE RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION CONDUCT A STUDY
TO EXAMINE THE TRAFFIC FLOW ON CENTRAL PIKE IN JOHNSTON

WHEREAS,
This house respectfully requests that the director of the Rhode Island
department
of transportation direct that a study be done with all deliberate speed on the
traffic
flow
on Central Pike in Johnston from Atwood Avenue to Route 116 in Scituate and
recommend
any
and all necessary changes including, but not limited to, wider roads and
sidewalks and
upgrading
the quality of the roadway; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That this house of representatives of the state of Rhode Island and
Providence
Plantations hereby respectfully requests that the Rhode Island department of
transportation
conduct a study to examine the traffic flow on Central Pike in Johnston; and be
it
further
RESOLVED,
That the secretary of state be and he hereby is authorized and directed to
transmit
a duly certified copy of this resolution to the director of the Rhode Island
department of
transportation.
