A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, J. Paul

Vance, Esq., Justice of the Peace and President of the Board of Alderman in Waterbury,

Connecticut, may join Dr. Michelle Nitto and Dr. Christopher C. Leveille in marriage within the

city of Newport, Rhode Island on or about September 9, 2005. J. Paul Vance, Esq. is hereby

authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in

accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
