A N A C T

EXEMPTING FROM TAXATION THE REAL, MIXED AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OF BLACKSTONE VALLEY COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM, INC. OF PAWTUCKET

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. All the real, mixed and personal property, located at 32 Goff Avenue,

Pawtucket, Rhode Island, owned by the Blackstone Valley Community Action Program, Inc.

(BVCAP), which has been providing social services to the low and moderate income residents of

Pawtucket and the surrounding area since 1965 and incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit

corporation in 1966, shall be exempt from state and local taxation so long as said property shall

be used for the purposes for which said corporation was incorporated.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
