H O U S E R E S O L U T I O N

PROCLAIMING THE YACHT CLUB BOTTLING WORKS, INC., LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF NORTH PROVIDENCE, AS THE STATE SODA/WATER COMPANY OF RHODE ISLAND

     WHEREAS, The Yacht Club Bottling Works, Inc. has been an institution in Rhode Island

since 1915; and

     WHEREAS, Since 1915, the Yacht Club Bottling Works, Inc. has faithfully provided the

citizens of Rhode Island high quality old fashioned soda and bottled water; and

     WHEREAS, The Yacht Club Bottling Works, Inc. is the last standing commercial bottler

in Rhode Island. That is a testament to the quality of their product and the ethical way they have

always conducted their business; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby proclaims the Yacht Club Bottling Works, Inc. to be the

Soda/Water Company of Rhode Island; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Chief Executive Officer of the Yacht Club

Bottling Works, Inc.
