REINSTATING THE LIFE OF AND
EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION
DATES OF THE SPECIAL
LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE CONCEPT OF
SUSTAINABILITY AS IT COULD BE ENCOURAGED
BY STATE GOVERNMENT

RESOLVED,
That the special legislative commission created by Resolution No. 249
passed by the General Assembly
at its January session, A.D. 2000, and approved May 31, 2000,
entitled “Joint Resolution
Creating A Special Legislative Commission to Study The Concept Of
Sustainability As It Could Be
Encouraged By State Government” and as amended by Resolution
No. 117 passed by the General
Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2001, and approved March
30, 2001, entitled “Joint
Resolution Creating A Special Legislative Commission To Study The
Concept Of Sustainability As
It Could Be Encouraged By State Government” and as amended by
Resolution No. 343 passed by
the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2002, and
approved May 31, 2002,
entitled “Joint Resolution Creating A Special Legislative Commission
To Study The Concept Of
Sustainability As It Could Be Encouraged By State Government” is
hereby reinstated and the same
members are hereby reappointed, and it is authorized to continue
its study and make a report to
the General Assembly on or before June 1, 2004 and said
commission shall expire on August
1, 2004; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the time for reporting and date of expiration authorized by Resolution
No. 249, passed by the General
Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2000 and approved May
31, 2000 and as amended by
resolution No. 117, passed by the General Assembly at its January
session, A.D. 2001 and
approved March 30, 2001 and as amended by Resolution No. 343, passed
by the General Assembly at its
January session, A.D. 2002 and approved May 31, 2002 be and
the same are hereby rescinded.
