J O I N T R E S O L U T I O N

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PAY CERTAIN VETERANS' BONUSES

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 1, 6 and 8 of chapter 57 of the

public laws, 1978, as such sections shall apply to application time periods, there is hereby

appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated for the fiscal year

ending June 30, 2003, the sum stipulated to pay the Vietnam bonus of the following:

     the sum of $200 to pay the Vietnam bonus to Paul Albert Belisle, 119 Chatillon, Dollard

Des Orneaur Pa, Canada H93 134, who served in the Vietnam conflict, Adjutant General file no.

020524-1.

     SECTION 2. All veterans seeking such bonuses pursuant to section 1 hereof, shall be

subject to all other requirements contained in chapter 57 of the public laws, 1978; and no such

bonus shall be paid until the case has been considered, acted upon, and approved for payment by

the Adjutant General of the state; and the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to

draw his/her orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of said sum, upon receipt by

him/her of all properly authenticated vouchers.

     SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon passage.
