A N A C T

RELATING TO CITIES AND TOWNS -- EXEMPTING FROM TAXATION PROPERTY OF THE NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. All the real, mixed and personal property of The Newport, Rhode Island

Young Men’s Christian Association, a nonbusiness corporation, incorporated on the January

session, 1888, shall be exempt from taxation so long as said property shall be used for the

purpose for which said corporation was incorporated.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
