EXPANDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE HOUSE COMMISSION TO STUDY SECURITY ISSUES AT THE STATE HOUSE AND EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE

RESOLVED, That a special legislative house commission
created by Resolution No. 305 passed by the House of Representatives at its
January session, A.D. 2001, approved June 26, 2001 entitled "House Resolution
Creating A Special Legislative House Commission To Study Security Issues At The
State House" is hereby amended to expand to a joint commission whereby three (3)
additional members shall be added to the commission; said members shall be
three (3) members of the Senate, but not more than two (2) senators from the
same party, which shall be appointed by the Majority Leader; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That said joint commission shall be known as the "Special Legislative Joint
Commission to Study Security Issues at the State House;" and be it further
RESOLVED,
That said joint commission is hereby authorized to continue its study and make
a report to the General Assembly on or before December 1, 2002 and said
commission shall expire on December 31, 2002.
