INCREASING THE HOLDINGS AND CHANGING THE NAME OF THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF PAWTUCKET

It is enacted
by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION
1. Section 2 of an act entitled "An act to
incorporate Pawtucket Boys Club, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed at the
January session A.D. 1902, and amended in the January 1962 session, further
amended in the January 1987 session, is hereby further amended to read as
follows:
Sec.
2. Said corporation may take, hold, transmit, and convey real, mixed, and
personal estate to an amount not exceeding five ten
million dollars, which property, real, mixed, and personal held and
possessed by said corporation not exceeding five ten million dollars, shall be exempt
from taxation so long as said property shall be occupied exclusively for the
objects set out in this act of incorporation, and not other.
SECTION
2. Boys & Girls Clubs of Pawtucket shall
hereafter be named and known as Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, and shall
be entitled to exercise the same powers, benefits and privileges it previously
exercised and be subject to the same duties and liabilities under the general
laws as under its original and previous corporate names.
SECTION
3. This act shall take effect upon passage.
