RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Phillip Janes, a lay pastor of Seekonk, Massachusetts, may join Brian Christopher Gugliotta and Kimberly Jean Fannoney in marriage at a place within the City of Newport on November 10, 2002. Mr. Janes is hereby authorized and empowered to join the forgoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
