RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Brian VanCouyghen, Justice of the Peace and resident of the Town of Narragansett, may join Laurie A. Chronley and Thomas K. Beaudry in marriage at a place within the state of Rhode Island on April 28, 2002. Mr. VanCouyghen is hereby authorized and empowered to join the forgoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
