	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee on
2	Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby amended
3	by adding thereto the following section:
4	22-7.4-160. Joseph M. Lima Overpass.
5	The India Point Park Overpass pedestrian bridge spanning the highway in the City of
6	Providence shall hereafter be named and known as the "Joseph M. Lima Overpass" in recognition
7	of his lifetime of selfless public service and his enduring impact on the Fox Point neighborhood
8	and the State of Rhode Island.
9	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.

2	Lima Overpass" to honor the former Deputy Majority Leader's legislative achievements and his
3	lifelong dedication to the Portuguese-American community.
4	This act would take effect upon passage.
