RELATING TO DAYS OF SPECIAL OBSERVANCE

SECTION 1. Section 25-2-20 of the General Laws in Chapter 25-2 entitled "Days of Special Observance" is hereby amended to read as follows:

25-2-20. Viet Nam veterans' day. -- The {DEL twenty-seventh day of January DEL} {ADD fifteenth day of May ADD}shall annually be set aside as a day to be known as "Viet Nam veterans' day". The day is to be observed by the people of this state with appropriate exercises in public places.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
