THANKING REPRESENTATIVE ROBERT "BOB" QUATTROCCHI FOR HIS DEDICATED

SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND

     WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert "Bob" Quattrocchi has served with distinction as the

State Representative for District 41, representing the residents of Scituate and a portion of

Cranston since first taking office in January of 2017; and

     WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure in the Rhode Island House of Representatives,

Representative Quattrocchi earned the respect of colleagues and constituents alike through his

dedication to public service, thoughtful deliberation, and steadfast commitment to the people he

was elected to serve; and

     WHEREAS, Recognized for his leadership abilities and commitment to his caucus,

Representative Quattrocchi served as Deputy Minority Leader and Deputy Minority Whip,

providing guidance, support, and institutional knowledge to his fellow legislators; and

     WHEREAS, During his service in the General Assembly, Representative Quattrocchi

served as a member of the House Committee on Oversight, the House Committee on Municipal

Government and Housing, and the Committee on Special Legislation, and also contributed his

time and expertise as a member of the House Study Commission on Geo Engineering and the

Multi-Unit Housing Recycling Program Study Commission; and

     WHEREAS, Representative Quattrocchi was known for approaching legislative matters

with diligence and careful consideration, drawing upon his experiences as a small business

owner, community volunteer, husband, father, and lifelong Rhode Island resident when

evaluating issues affecting the State and its citizens; and

     WHEREAS, A proud fourth-generation Rhode Islander and longtime resident of Scituate,

Representative Quattrocchi consistently advocated for the interests of his constituents while

working to strengthen the quality of life in the communities he represented; and

     WHEREAS, As a legislator, Representative Quattrocchi devoted himself to promoting

accountable, transparent, and efficient government and remained committed to ensuring that the

voices and concerns of Rhode Islanders were heard throughout the legislative process; and

     WHEREAS, Beyond his legislative service, Representative Quattrocchi has been an

active and engaged member of his community, supporting numerous civic, charitable,

educational, and youth organizations, including the Scituate Lions Club, local libraries, youth

sports programs, school activities, and community events; and

     WHEREAS, A graduate of the American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Florida,

Representative Quattrocchi successfully owned and operated Rhode Island small businesses and

brought an entrepreneurial perspective and strong work ethic to his public service; and

     WHEREAS, His dedication to his community was recognized in 2020 when he was

named the Sons and Daughters of Italy Vince Lombardi Lodge Man of the Year, an honor

reflecting his many contributions to the residents of Scituate and the surrounding area; and

     WHEREAS, As Representative Quattrocchi concludes his final legislative session, it is

fitting that this House recognizes his years of faithful service, his commitment to his constituents,

and the many contributions he has made to the State of Rhode Island; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby

expresses its sincere gratitude to Representative Robert "Bob" Quattrocchi for his dedicated

service in the Rhode Island General Assembly, congratulates him on his years of

accomplishments on behalf of the people of District 41 and the State of Rhode Island, and

extends its heartfelt best wishes for continued health, happiness, and success in all his future

endeavors; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Honorable Robert "Bob" Quattrocchi.
