15 | for Methods to Mitigate the Associated Expenses" and as extended by resolution No. 293 passed |

2 | Mitigate the Associated Expenses" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to |
3 | the House of Representatives on or before May 30, 2027, and said commission shall expire on |
4 | December 19, 2027; and be it further |
5 | RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 293 passed by the |
6 | House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved May 13, 2025, be and |
7 | the same is hereby rescinded. |

1 | This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative |
2 | commission to study and review the cost and status of the State of Rhode Island owned, vacant, |
3 | and abandoned properties and provide recommendations for methods to mitigate the associated |
4 | expenses, from May 24, 2026, to May 30, 2027, and said commission would expire on December |
5 | 19, 2027. |
