EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF LINDA ZANNI | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Linda |
2 | Marie Zanni, whose life was defined by kindness, generosity, and the unconditional love she gave |
3 | so freely. Linda was the cherished mother of Kara Zanni Sides, and her husband, Adoniram |
4 | Sides; and |
5 | WHEREAS, A proud Rhode Islander, Linda was born and raised in Pawtucket and |
6 | maintained a lifelong connection to her roots. She embraced the traditions, culture, and simple |
7 | joys that make the Ocean State so special like endless beach days and a passion for seafood; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Linda made her home in Scituate for many years, where she fostered a |
9 | warm and welcoming environment, filling it with music, dancing, and cooking. She built a |
10 | vibrant life grounded in laughter and love; and |
11 | WHEREAS, Linda was widely known for her open heart and open door, offering |
12 | comfort, compassion, and a sense of belonging to many, becoming a trusted presence in the lives |
13 | of those around her, and leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her; and |
14 | WHEREAS, As the owner of a local dance studio, Linda devoted nearly two decades to |
15 | sharing her love of dance with her students, inspiring confidence, creativity, and self-expression; |
16 | and |
17 | WHEREAS, In her public service, Linda served the State of Rhode Island as a typist in |
18 | Legislative Council at the State House, where her kindness, gentle spirit, and warm demeanor |
19 | were deeply valued by her former colleagues; and |
20 | WHEREAS, She leaves behind her beloved nieces, Diana Beeley-Andrade, Maureen |

1 | Simpson, and Donna Gouveia, and her devoted companion, Dennis Kimball, as well as many |
2 | extended family members, friends, and former students who will long cherish her memory; and |
3 | WHEREAS, Linda Zanni's legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and unwavering |
4 | love, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her; now, |
5 | therefore be it |
6 | RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby |
7 | expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Linda Zanni and extends its sincere sympathy |
8 | to her family and loved ones; and be it further |
9 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
10 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to the family of Linda Zanni. |
