EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE LEGISLATIVE

STUDY COMMISSION ON CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS AND SOLUTIONS

     RESOLVED, That the special House commission created by resolution No. 361 passed

2

by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 11, 2024,

3

entitled "House Resolution Creating a Legislative Study Commission On Climate Change

4

Impacts and Solutions," as further amended by resolution No. 161 passed by the House of

5

Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved March 18, 2025, entitled "House

6

Resolution Extending the Reporting and Expiration Dates and Amending the Membership of the

7

Legislative Study Commission on Climate Change Impact and Solutions," is hereby authorized to

8

continue its study and make a report to the House of Representatives on or before May 14, 2029,

9

and may issue interim reports as the commission deems fit or recommends as appropriate prior to

10

that date, and said commission shall expire on June 18, 2029; and be it further

11

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 361 passed by the

12

House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 11, 2024, and as

13

extended by resolution No. 161 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session,

14

A.D. 2025, and approved March 18, 2025, be and the same is hereby rescinded.

EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE LEGISLATIVE

STUDY COMMISSION ON CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS AND SOLUTIONS

     This resolution would extend the reporting dates of the legislative study commission on

2

climate change impact and solutions from May 14, 2026, to May 14, 2029, and would extend the

3

expiration date of said commission from June 18, 2026, to June 18, 2029.
