H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ROBIN ANN

MONTECALVO

     WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this House has learned of the untimely passing of

Robin Ann Montecalvo, the beloved wife of Gian Montecalvo; and

     WHEREAS, Robin Montecalvo was born in the City of Providence, a daughter of the late

Richard and Eileen Langevin, the sister of Gary Langevin and his wife Cristine, and Coleene

Golderese and her husband, Stephen, and the daughter-in-law of Phyllis A. Montecalvo; and

     WHEREAS, In addition, Mrs. Montecalvo leaves behind her extended family, aunt and

uncle, Thomas and Crystal Leddy, her nephew, Nicholas Fournier, and her beloved canine

companions, Bosco and Reggie; and

     WHEREAS, Upon graduation from college, Mrs. Montecalvo was employed as a

licensed practical nurse (LPN) for Rhode Island Hospital. She took great pride and had a deep

passion for the care of her patients while working as an LPN for the Visiting Nurses Association,

where she provided homecare. She was also a Scentsy representative for over thirteen years; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to her work, Mrs. Montecalvo loved spending time with family

and friends and in her spare time, enjoyed listening to country music; and

     WHEREAS, Robin Ann Montecalvo had an “incredibly kind heart”, “unapologetic

humor”, and “steadfast determination”. She was an anchor for those who were lucky to be a part

of her life, and she is deeply missed; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby

extends deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of Robin Ann Montecalvo; and be it

further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Gian Montecalvo and Family.
