WHEREAS, There is an illusion that the birth of a child equals a life yet to be lived,

filled with the promise of bright tomorrows and soon to be climbed summits. When that myth is

shattered, it leaves a void in the foundation of our beliefs, and a sorrow that is impossible to

4

grasp, and so it is with utmost sadness that this Senate has learned of the untimely passing of Cole

5

Andrew Constant; and

6

WHEREAS, A resident of the Town of Cumberland, Cole was the cherished son of

7

Andrew and Brittany Constant, and the beloved brother of Quinn and Leo Constant. His life was

8

also filled with the love of his grandparents, Darlene and Rene Leduc, and Beth and David

9

Constant; and

10

WHEREAS, Blessed in so many ways, Cole was fortunate to have also enjoyed the

11

unconditional affection and support of a large and loving extended family with many adoring

12

aunts, uncles, and cousins; and

13

WHEREAS, Cole's life had purpose and brought great joy and love into so many hearts,

14

and taught those around him "to pause and appreciate the little things"; and

15

WHEREAS, Cole was a beautiful shining star who enjoyed music, bubbles, watching his

16

siblings play, and trips to Bizzy Bee Therapy, and he leaves sweet memories of his humor,

17

laughter, love and smile, that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever; now,

18

therefore be it

19

RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby extends deepest

1

sympathy on the passing of Cole Andrew Constant. May the shared moments of laughter and

2

love, the good times, the better times, become cherished memories for his family; and be it

3

further

4
