EXTENDING DEEPEST SYMPATHY ON THE PASSING OF MADELINE MONTANARO | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Madeline |
2 | Montanaro, the devoted wife of the late Frank Montanaro, and the cherished mother of Laurie |
3 | Montanaro, our friend and former colleague, the Honorable Frank Montanaro and his wife, Joy, |
4 | Gina Montanaro and her husband, Michael Eckman, and Diana Montanaro; and |
5 | WHEREAS, Born in the City of Providence, Mrs. Montanaro, better known as “Maddie” |
6 | to her family and friends, was a beloved daughter of the late Vincent and Anna Conca, and the |
7 | sister of Claudia Crudele, Lorraine Massiello, and Crescenzo Conca; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Montanaro doted on her family, particularly her six grandchildren, |
9 | Alexandria Montanaro, Michael Montanaro, Frank Montanaro, Jake Montanaro, Kelsey Lawton, |
10 | and Karissa Montanaro and her spouse, Elizabeth Montanaro, and her three great-grandchildren, |
11 | Maya, Lena, and Luke Montanaro, who were the light of her life; and |
12 | WHEREAS, With a loving personality, Mrs. Montanaro created and nurtured a marriage |
13 | that flourished and a home that was warm and welcoming. She adored traveling the world with |
14 | her beloved husband, and sharing a glass of wine or her amazing cooking with her family and |
15 | many friends; and |
16 | WHEREAS, In addition to raising her family, Mrs. Montanaro had been an executive |
17 | secretary for the RI State Association of Firefighters for a number of years; and |
18 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Montanaro was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished |
19 | grandmother and great-grandmother who was always laughing, always generous, always loving, |
20 | and always there to share a smile and a hug, and she is dearly missed but will forever be |

1 | remembered; now, therefore be it |
2 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses deepest |
3 | condolences on the passing of Madeline Montanaro; and be it further |
4 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
5 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Laurie Montanaro, Frank Montanaro, Gina |
6 | Montanaro, and Diana Montanaro. |
