EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF DIANE M. COLERICK | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Diane |
2 | M. Colerick. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of Lucille Soucy and the late Rodrigue |
3 | Soucy; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Diane Colerick was a hard-working woman who strove daily to provide for |
5 | her family and loved ones. She worked for many years at the Soucy Insurance Agency in |
6 | Woonsocket as well as at Seven Hills in Woonsocket, where she was a hard-working and valued |
7 | employee; and |
8 | WHEREAS, In addition to her mother, Lucille Soucy, Diane Colerick leaves behind her |
9 | daughter, Meaghan Colerick, her partner Ron McTague, and her siblings David Soucy, Michelle |
10 | Gauvin, Francoise Cecconi, and Danielle Peloquin. She also leaves behind many nieces and |
11 | nephews; and |
12 | WHEREAS, Diane Colerick had a great love of animals and cared for many feral cats |
13 | throughout her life. First and foremost in her life was her family and loved ones, and the love she |
14 | gave all of them will be forever remembered in their hearts and minds; now, therefore be it |
15 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses its |
16 | condolences on the passing of Diane M. Colerick; and be it further |
17 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
