EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF TAMMY L. DENIER-RHODES

     WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Tammy

2

L. Denier-Rhodes, the devoted wife of David Rhodes. She was born in French Camp, California,

3

to Gregory Schnaible and Norma Moen, and as a toddler, was adopted by Harry Denier; and

4

     WHEREAS, Tammy Denier-Rhodes was a hard-working woman who strove daily to

5

provide for her family and loved ones. She worked for many years at H&R Block in both

6

Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and later for Elite Physical Therapy, an Ivy Rehab Network

7

partner in North Smithfield. She was a tireless worker who made a positive impact on all of the

8

customers and patients she encountered and served throughout her distinguished professional

9

career; and

10

     WHEREAS, In addition to her husband, David, Mrs. Denier-Rhodes leaves behind her

11

children, Michael Hoff and his wife, Julia, David Hoff and his wife, Jacqui, and Nick Denier, as

12

well as her grandchildren, Arianna, Kylie, Bentley, Paisley, and Harleigh. She also leaves behind

13

her siblings, Debora Archambeau, Daniel Denier, Heath Schnaible, Jacob Schnaible and Jessica

14

Schnaible and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother,

15

Norma Moen; and

16

     WHEREAS, First and foremost in Mrs. Denier-Rhodes' life was always her family. She

17

created a warm and nurturing home for her children and husband, and enjoyed doting on her

18

grandchildren. She was skilled at crafting and took great joy in creating pretty bows and cute

19

birthday outfits for her grandchildren. She was a bright light of joy throughout her life and will

20

forever live in the hearts and memories of her family and many friends; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses condolences

2

on the passing of Tammy L. Denier-Rhodes; and be it further

3

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

4

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to David Rhodes and Family.
