     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 446

passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2023, and approved June 26,

2023, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Task Force to Improve the Long-

4

Term Outcomes and Reduce Recidivism of Females Within the Criminal Justice Population" is

5

hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the House of Representatives on or

6

before May 3, 2024, and said commission shall expire on June 7, 2024; and be it further

7

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 446 passed by the

8

House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2023, and approved June 26, 2023, be and

9

the same is hereby rescinded.

LEGISLATIVE TASK FORCE TO IMPROVE THE LONG-TERM OUTCOMES AND

REDUCE RECIDIVISM OF FEMALES WITHIN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE POPULATION

     This resolution extends the reporting and expiration dates of the task force to improve

2

long-term outcomes and reduce recidivism of females in the criminal justice system, from

3

February 5, 2024, to May 3, 2024, and would expire on June 7, 2024.
