EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF DIANE P. ROSE | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Diane P. |
2 | Rose, the wife of the Honorable Henry Rose, a former member of the Rhode Island House of |
3 | Representatives, and a resident at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in East Providence at the time of |
4 | her passing; and |
5 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Rose was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was a daughter of late |
6 | Henry and Cecile Allard, and the sister of Colleen Peach, Tresa Ball, and Tina Allard; and |
7 | WHEREAS, A devoted mother, Mrs. Rose leaves her children, Sherry Rose-Harritos and |
8 | her husband, Vasilios, and Henry Rose and his wife, Jacqueline. She was also the very loving |
9 | grandmother of three grandchildren, Nicholas, Henry, and Victoria; and |
10 | WHEREAS, In addition to her family, Mrs. Rose loved to dance and was a passionate |
11 | advocate and devoted supporter of all animals; and |
12 | WHEREAS, Diane Rose loved her family and was a wonderful friend to many and she |
13 | will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it |
14 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby extends deepest |
15 | condolences to the family and friends of Diane P. Rose; and be it further |
16 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
17 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Honorable Henry Rose and Family. |
