EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF KRISTINE MARIE | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Kristine |
2 | Marie Peloquin, the beloved wife of Christian Peloquin for ten years, and the cherished mother of |
3 | Christian Ferreira; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Born in the City of Providence, Mrs. Peloquin was the daughter of Michelle |
5 | DeSerres and the late Albert DeSerres, the sister and best friend of Alan DeSerres, and his wife, |
6 | Sandra, and a doting aunt to her nephew and niece, Jonah and Julianna. She was the |
7 | granddaughter of the late Emma and Lucien DeSerres and Marie and Roland Michaud; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Peloquin attended Rhode Island College where she earned her |
9 | Bachelor of Science degree in health education. Upon graduation, she taught in numerous school |
10 | systems in Rhode Island and Massachusetts; and |
11 | WHEREAS, Eventually, Mrs. Peloquin opened her own business, Your Service |
12 | Bartending LLC, which was highly successful due in no small measure to her amazing |
13 | personality. With a caring and personal touch, she made every event special, earning her many |
14 | devoted friends, repeat customers, and prestigious accolades; and |
15 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Peloquin was a true renaissance woman who loved an eclectic variety |
16 | of leisure time activities. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed cooking and hosting family get- |
17 | togethers and the beaches of East Matunuck, rocking out to music and attending concerts, |
18 | particularly the band Journey, gardening and feeding backyard bird friends, and closest to her |
19 | heart, spending time with family, her chocolate labs Cocoa, Sage and Bailey, and her seafaring |

1 | friends, Christian and “Mama Celeste Peloquin”; and |
2 | WHEREAS, Kristine Peloquin led a full and blessed life surrounded by those she loved |
3 | and she will be dearly missed by each and every one of them; now, therefore be it |
4 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby extends deepest |
5 | condolences on the passing of Kristine Marie Peloquin; and be it further |
6 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
7 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Christian Peloquin and Family, Mrs. Michelle |
8 | DeSerres, and Mr. Alan DeSerres and Family. |
