EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF KARRIE ANN DISANTO | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Karrie |
2 | Ann DiSanto of Barrington. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Nancy and |
3 | Joseph Agostinelli; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Ms. DiSanto was a devoted mother who strived tirelessly to provide for her |
5 | family and loved ones. She was also a passionate advocate in support of numerous causes, |
6 | particularly in her work on behalf of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence, which |
7 | included organizing the very successful “March for our Lives” rally at the Rhode Island |
8 | Statehouse in June of 2022; and |
9 | WHEREAS, Ms. DiSanto leaves behind her beloved daughters, Lydia DiSanto and |
10 | Charlotte DiSanto, and their father, Thomas DiSanto. She is also survived by her siblings, Joseph |
11 | Agostinelli, Steven Agostinelli, Mark Agostinelli, and Mary O’Brien, as well as many aunts, |
12 | uncles, nieces and dear friends; now, therefore be it |
13 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses its deepest |
14 | condolences to the DiSanto Family on the passing of Karrie Ann DiSanto; and be it further |
15 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
16 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Lydia DiSanto and Charlotte DiSano. |
