EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ANTONIO P. | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Antonio |
2 | P. Trebisacci, Jr., husband to the love of his life, Carolyn Trebisacci for fifty-eight years, and the |
3 | cherished father of Kenneth Trebisacci and his wife, Rebecca, Karen, and Christine and her |
4 | husband, Timothy Riordan; and |
5 | WHEREAS, In adition to his wife and children, Mr. Trebisacci was the very proud |
6 | grandfather of Luke and Giovanna Trebisacci, Brianna and Nate Klein, and Anastasica Riordan, |
7 | the uncle of many nieces and nephews, and the caretaker and best friend of his faithful canine, |
8 | Sally; and |
9 | WHEREAS, Born in Westerly, Mr. Trebisacci, fondly known as ""Junie" to his family |
10 | and friends, was the son of the late Antonio and Nellie Trebisacci, Sr., and the brother of the late |
11 | Louis, David, John Sr., Salvatore, and Josephine Christina; and |
12 | WHEREAS, Mr. Trebisacci was a graduate of Westerly High School and had been |
13 | employed at the Westerly Sun for fifty-three years before his retirement. He served our country |
14 | with honor in the United States Army for two years and in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for four |
15 | years; and |
16 | WHEREAS, Devoted to his faith, Mr. Trebisacci was a parishioner at the Immaculate |
17 | Conception Church and a member of the Mt. Carmel Feast Committee for sixty-two years and a |
18 | member of the Calabrese Club. He also volunteered at South County Community Action and had |
19 | cooked and delivered meals to those in need, and was an avid Red Sox fan and played softball as |

1 | a pitcher in the Men's Softball League; and |
2 | WHEREAS, Antonio Trebisacci was "known by many and loved by all." He will be |
3 | fondly remembered for his sense of humor, his famous odes, his corny jokes, and his daily visits |
4 | to McQuade's Marketplace, not to mention his infamous Pizza Lady commercials on WBLQ. He |
5 | was blessed with an adoring family and many, many friends and he will be dearly missed; now, |
6 | therefore be it |
7 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby extends deepest |
8 | condolences on the passing of Antonio P. Trebisacci, Jr.; and be it further |
9 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
10 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Carolyn Trebisacci and Family. |
